For over 30+ years, The Image Development Place has been providing image development training and services to individuals and corporate clients. Our clients have included Fortune 500 companies, school districts, social clubs, and non-profit organizations.

We offer five specialized training programs that target corporate and personal image development: Career Protocol Development Training, Image Development Training for Women/Men, Professional Modeling for Women/Men, and Children/Teens/Pre-Teens/Youth Etiquette programs. Our proprietary training programs have helped our clients experience positive changes in self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-awareness.

They have intuitively used their potential and have become more congruent with their walk, talk, and appearance. Sessions are available for individuals as well as groups.

Dorris Irving, principal of Image Development Place, has over 30+ years of experience in the field of image development. She is a certified image consultant and former professional model. Ms. Irving is a graduate of the University of Houston and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in (TLS) Technology, Leadership, and Supervision and a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Houston Baptist University.

As a highly respected trainer and consultant, she has helped hundreds of adults and youth learn how to look, feel, and act with poise and self-confidence. She has helped individuals gain skills to succeed in their chosen careers, including modeling. As a sought-after speaker, she has talked on such topics as the Importance of Image, Dressing to Achieve Results, Job Search, How to Build Professional Credibility, and more.

Ms. Irving has worked on fashion show productions, including providing the running commentary, and has authored articles for popular beauty and real estate magazines and appeared on local radio and talk shows promoting the benefits of a good image. She has been honored with many public awards, acknowledging her contribution toward helping shape a positive image in individuals.
